Our Woman Crush for this week is an amazing Chapter Member for our Los Angeles chapter of Gals That Brunch! Meet Elizabeth! Though she’s attended events in Los Angeles, Elizabeth is currently calling Nebraska home. As an attendee at the first brunch event in Los Angeles, she immediately fell in love with the community and the excitement the group shared about the prospect of finding women to connect with and support one another. Now, let’s get to know a little bit more about Elizabeth!

Los Angeles (but currently in Nebraska)

What's your favorite thing about being involved with Gals That Brunch?
The community! I've found some of my best friends in LA thanks to GTB. I'll cherish these friendships forever <3
Tell us about your favorite brunch event you've hosted or attended?
I would say the first one I went to. It was the first event in LA, and the group was on the smaller side. It was so fun to feel the excitement in the group for this new venture!
Have you met a new Brunch Bestie, BFF, Business Partner, etc. at a Gals That Brunch event? If yes, tell us about it!
I've met a wonderful group of gals that cheer me on and support me every day. We had a Zoom Scavenger Hunt together, and have just had a wonderful time being there for each other.
What do you do for a living?
I'm an entertainment publicist. I would say my 'side hustle' is the book I'm currently writing. That's what I'm really focusing on outside of work.
When you're not working, what are you typically doing?
I love reading, writing, and crafting. I am currently crocheting a baby blanket for a friend!
What's your personal mantra?
Parvus Sed Potens - It's Latin for 'Small but Powerful.' A professor told me this when I was getting ready to move to Boston.
In the movie about your life, who would play you?
Julie Andrews, because she's incredible in every possible way. Might as well aim for the stars!
When you brunch, do you usually go with something…
Both!
What's your go-to brunch beverage?
Bloody Mary!
What's your favorite brunch spot in your city?
Swinger's Cafe
What’s your favorite brunch entree?
I LOVE hashbrowns - so really any dish that I can get hashbrowns with.
When choosing your brunch outfit, which do you typically opt for?
High-waisted skinny jeans w/ a cute blouse and cardigan. And maybe heels if I'm feeling really fancy.
What's your all-time favorite movie(s)?
The Outsiders
What TV show(s) are you currently loving?
West Wing
What's the name of the last book you read? Would you recommend it?
