Support the Vision. Sustain the Impact.

Give Back or Sponsor to Help Us Keep Showing Up

Support the Movement

For nearly a decade, Gals That Brunch has operated with zero paid staffโ€” 100% volunteer-led, fueled solely by vision, grit, and the unwavering belief that community should never be a luxury.

Weโ€™ve built something extraordinary. What began with a few women around a table has grown into a global movement with over 150 chapters, 225,000+ members around the worldโ€”all while keeping things as accessible, inclusive, and life-giving as possible.

Weโ€™ve never asked for much. But the time has come to invite you in. Because what weโ€™re building is bigger than us. And to go further, reach more women, and sustain the heart of this movementโ€”we need help.

Hereโ€™s What Your Giving Makes Possible:

โœ… Keep events low-cost or even free for women in all seasons of life
โœ… Provide sponsorships to single moms, students, and women in transition
โœ… Support small businesses through intentional partnerships
โœ… Begin hiring part-time admin + leadership roles to strengthen infrastructure
โœ… Grow with intention, excellence, and sustainability

Every dollar goes directly toward community-building, not profit. This has always been about impactโ€”not income. And your supportโ€”whether personal or through your companyโ€”helps us stay true to that mission.

If GTB has impacted youโ€ฆ
If you believe in what weโ€™re doingโ€ฆ
Or if you simply want to see women around the world supported and seenโ€” we invite you to sow into the soil of something sacred.

Thank youโ€”for believing in this vision, for showing up, and for helping us build something that truly lasts.

This Is More Than Brunch

SOME OF OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

.....

SOME OF OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS .....

  • aka: the pep talk you didnโ€™t know you needed

    Heyyyyy sisstaaaaaa, soooooooul sistaaaaaaaโ€ฆ
Where have you even been all our life?!?! ๐Ÿฅน

    No but really.

Letโ€™s just go ahead and say the quiet part out loud:
    Showing up is scary.

Not just the logistical partโ€”finding parking, walking into a restaurant by yourself, scanning the crowd like โ€œwho do I talk to?โ€
    But the emotional part, too.

Thereโ€™s a little inner monologue that plays on repeat when youโ€™re trying to decide whether to click RSVP:

    • What if everyone already knows each other?

    • What if Iโ€™m the only first timer?

    • What if no one talks to me?

    • What if I feel out of place?

    • What if Iโ€™m too much?

    • What if Iโ€™m not enough?

    • What if I get there, and itโ€™s just... awkward?

    Breathe, beauty.
You're not the only one who's thought these thoughts.

In fact? At least 50% of the women attending any GTB event are thinking those exact same things.
And hereโ€™s the math to prove it:

โœจ Roughly 40% of attendees are brand new.
โœจ About 20% have been to 1 or 2 events.
โœจ And 40% are returnersโ€”aka the girls youโ€™re probably worried already โ€œknow everyone,โ€ but spoiler: theyโ€™re usually the first to scoop you up and say, โ€œSit with us!โ€

Weโ€™ve had events with 10 women and events with 75โ€”and every single time, thereโ€™s a sacred mix of โ€œme too,โ€ โ€œIโ€™ve been there,โ€ and โ€œyou can totally sit with me.โ€

    ๐Ÿ’ก Hereโ€™s our honest-to-goodness advice?

If youโ€™re thinking of coming, come solo.

I know, I know. Itโ€™s tempting to rally your girls (unless you met them through GTBโ€”thatโ€™s fair game ๐Ÿ˜˜), but thereโ€™s something really powerful about showing up on your own.

    It stretches you.
It frees you from your comfort zone.
It opens your heart to people you may have never crossed paths with otherwise.

When you come with friends, you often stay in the same little bubble of familiarity. But when you come solo? You get to write a brand new page in your storyโ€”and it often starts with someone saying, โ€œHi, Iโ€™m so glad youโ€™re here.โ€

That saidโ€”zero shame if you need to bring someone for moral support. We love new faces, however they get here. But if youโ€™re on the fence about coming alone, this is your sign. ๐Ÿ’›

    ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ Whatโ€™s the vibe?

Gals That Brunch was built on radical welcome.
That means everyone is encouraged to meet someone new. Whether youโ€™re loud and bubbly, quiet and introverted, freshly heartbroken, wildly successful, or just figuring it all outโ€”youโ€™re not just welcome hereโ€ฆ
    youโ€™re wanted here.

Our returners know what itโ€™s like to be the new girl.
    Theyโ€™ve stood in your shoes.
They are youโ€”just maybe a few brunches ahead.

    โœจ Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s true:

    You are worth knowing.
Not just for what you do or who you came withโ€”but for who you are.

And if no oneโ€™s told you latelyโ€”
You showing up is a miracle in motion.

We often say around here: you are the gift.
Not the planner you bring. Not the outfit you wear. Not the highlight reel youโ€™ve polished. YOU.

So often we wait for perfect timing, for someone to invite us, for life to calm down. But if we always waited for that, weโ€™d never get the healing weโ€™ve been craving.

GTB isnโ€™t just about brunch. Itโ€™s about belonging.

Because real life doesnโ€™t happen in status updates or perfectly filtered squares.
Real life happens around the table.

It happens when you pull up a chair, let your guard down, and say, โ€œIโ€™m here.โ€
Itโ€™s laughter and tears and waffles and awkward name tags and โ€œOh my gosh, me too.โ€

Itโ€™s hugging someone goodbye who was a stranger 90 minutes earlier.

๐Ÿ’ซ So if youโ€™re on the fence, hereโ€™s our final word:

    Come.

    Come exactly as you are.
Big energy or quiet presence. Post-breakup, in-between jobs, new to the city, spiritually searching, socially exhaustedโ€”come anyway.

Because this community was built for women like you.
Women who are brave enough to risk being seen.
Women who are tired of surface-level connection and craving something real.
Women who are done waiting to be invited, and instead are choosing to show up for their own lives.

    Thereโ€™s a seat for you.
    We saved it.

Now all thatโ€™s left is for you to sit down. ๐Ÿ’•

  • Hey lovelyโ€”letโ€™s talk tickets real quick ๐Ÿ’•

At Gals That Brunch, weโ€™re all about creating accessible, beautiful, joy-filled spaces for connectionโ€”and we work hard behind the scenes to make that happen. Because weโ€™re not a big business (weโ€™re a small but mighty volunteer-run team ๐Ÿ’ช), all RSVP fees are non-refundable and go directly toward bringing these events to life.

Hereโ€™s the thing: income isnโ€™t being generated from these eventsโ€”weโ€™re not in it for profit. In fact, many times we host events at a personal loss, just to keep them going for the gals who need them most.

Your RSVP fee helps cover things like:
โœจ Credit card + transaction fees (yep, every ticket processed costs us)
โœจ Pretty emails, our website, translation tools, booking systems, and more
โœจ Deposits to venues, supplies, signage, giveaways, name tagsโ€”and allll the behind-the-scenes magic that makes our community what it is

We're asking for the minimum needed to keep things running smoothly while also honoring our promise to keep events as accessible and inclusive as possible.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Canโ€™t make it anymore? Hereโ€™s what to do:

    Tickets are fully transferable! ๐Ÿ™Œ
If something comes up (life happens!), you're welcome to gift or sell your ticket to another gal. We recommend posting it in our San Diego Chapter Facebook Group where someone will almost always scoop it up.

โœ”๏ธ Whoever takes your ticket will simply check in under your name at the event
โœ”๏ธ Please make sure to notify the event host once your ticket has been transferred so we can keep track
โœ”๏ธ This helps you avoid being marked as a no-show, and ensures your spot still gets filled

P.S. โ€“ We donโ€™t have the admin bandwidth to manage every ticket transfer or chase down details (remember: tiny team!). So we count on you to handle your swaps directly.

    ๐Ÿ• What about refunds?

In rare cases, if you let us know at least 14 days in advance, and if your ticket funds havenโ€™t already been spent (on deposits, supplies, minimums, etc.), we might be able to issue a partial refund (minus taxes + fees). But this is not guaranteed, especially for highly curated or pre-paid events.

If thereโ€™s enough lead time, weโ€™re happy to try to help resell your ticketโ€”but if the event ends up under-attended or undersold, we unfortunately canโ€™t issue a refund.

    ๐Ÿ’› Thank you

We hope you knowโ€”your RSVP doesnโ€™t just save a seat. It helps fund the mission behind this whole thing: making friendship easier, community accessible, and real-life connection more possible in a world that so desperately needs it.

Weโ€™re so grateful for your understanding, your heart, and your presence.

See you at the table soon ๐Ÿฅ‚

  • Every event is a little differentโ€”because every space, every group, and every moment carries its own magic.

Some are cozy and intimate. Others? Packed to the brim with gals pulling up extra chairs and scooting over to make space for one more. We always try to make room at the tableโ€”because we believe everyone deserves one.

We serve 500-1000 gals every single month. Some events are as small as 7 people deep, others are 50+, and many land somewhere in between. And no matter the size, youโ€™ll always find a beautiful mix: some gals coming for the very first time, others whoโ€™ve been with us since the early days and are now part of the OG crew.

We host a wide array of events every month designed to help you build real-life, soul-filling friendships. From casual hangs to curated moments, weโ€™re here to help you create the reps + rhythm you need to make and keep meaningful connections. (Fun fact: studies show it takes over 200 hours to form a deep friendshipโ€”our 10, 12, sometimes 16 events a month are designed to help you build those hours. Consistently. Gently. Joyfully.)

    Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll typically find:

    ๐Ÿซถ Organic Events

Our most common and most accessible event styleโ€”low-fee, deposit or free. These are the โ€œpull up a chair, come as you areโ€ moments.
We make the plans, book the resys, and all you have to do is just show up.
Messy bun, no makeup, solo or with a friend. These are the events where you come as you are and leave with new friends.

    ๐ŸŽจ Curated Events

Sometimes we add a little โœจextraโœจ. A rooftop brunch, a themed experience, a boutique collab, a creative workshop.
These often carry a higher ticket price to reflect the added activities, vendors, or experienceโ€”but we always keep accessibility at the forefront.
    These are elevatedโ€”not exclusive.

    ๐ŸŒŸ All-In Events

Occasionally, we go all out. Think: food, drinks, gifts, surprises, maybe a photographer.
These are fewer and farther between, but when they happenโ€”youโ€™ll be talking about them for months.

So if youโ€™re wondering where to start, the answer is easy: wherever your heart says yes.
    Thereโ€™s no wrong answer.

    Because hereโ€™s whatโ€™s true:
Weโ€™re not here to entertain. Weโ€™re here to build community.

Letโ€™s face itโ€”San Diego doesnโ€™t have a shortage of fun things to do.
What it does have is a shortage of spaces that go beyond the surface.
And thatโ€™s what weโ€™re here for.

    Our events are designed to:
โœจ Create connection in a no-pressure way
โœจ Make the city feel a little smaller and a lot more friendly
โœจ Help you navigate this post-college, post-transition, post-everything season where friendship feels harder than it should

Because no one really prepares you for how weird and wonderful adult friendships can be.
New jobs, breakups, moves, motherhood, promotions, heartbreak, healingโ€”
Itโ€™s all better when youโ€™re not doing it alone.

We come together to support, encourage, and champion the women in our city.
We show up to eat pancakes, share stories, celebrate wins, cry when we need to, and grow into something bigger than our individual experiences.

And lookโ€”we get it. Social media feels like connectionโ€ฆ
But it doesnโ€™t hold your hand.
    It doesnโ€™t hug you.
It doesnโ€™t ask how your day was and actually listen.

As human beings, we are literally hardwired for community.
    We were made for this.

    GTB helps solve that.

The table is where real life happens.
Where phones go down, eyes lift up, and hearts soften.
Itโ€™s where you see people walk in a little heavy and walk out just a bit shinier and brighterโ€”after finally getting to just be.

So come exactly as you are.
Big energy, quiet presence, in-between season and all.

    Because this?
This is the table where the real stuff happens.

  • We serve women navigating the realities of adulthood in all its forms.
The messy. The magical. The mundane. The magnificent.

We are women from all walks of lifeโ€”woven together by curiosity, courage, and a deep desire for connection.

Weโ€™re made up of every background, body type, belief system, and storyโ€”and we wouldnโ€™t have it any other way.
We all may love, vote, worship, and work a little differentlyโ€”but when we gather?
    Itโ€™s nothing short of breathtaking.
Truly, the 8th wonder of the world.

Our community includes creatives and caretakers, teachers and techies, stay-at-home mamas and students, entrepreneurs and dreamers, women whoโ€™ve built empires and women just beginning to whisper โ€œmaybe I could try.โ€

And the one thing we all have in common?

    Weโ€™re human.
    Weโ€™re real.
    And weโ€™re better together.

Weโ€™re not here to competeโ€”weโ€™re here to connect.
Weโ€™re not here to impressโ€”weโ€™re here to belong.
Weโ€™re not here to fit into a boxโ€”weโ€™re here to break the mold.

So who shows up at brunch?

โœจ Women figuring it out. โœจ Women whoโ€™ve figured some things out. โœจ Women who thought they had it all figured out until last week. โœจ Women who are rebuilding. Reimagining. Returning to themselves.

    You might be:

    • Navigating school, just graduated, or a young professional slaying your goals.

    • Quietly rebuilding after something hard, or finally stepping into something big.

    • In your โ€œI quit it all and moved into a vanโ€ era.

    • Single and searching. Married and learning. Newly dating or freshly heartbroken.

    • A mama with macaroni in your hairโ€ฆ or a mama whose kids now have more of a social life than you.

    • In transition. In your groove. In need of something real.

We donโ€™t lead with ageโ€”we lead with season.
This isnโ€™t about how old you are.
Itโ€™s about what you're navigating, what you're carrying, and what youโ€™re longing to find.

Whether you're new in town or born and raised here.
Starting over or just starting out.
Wrestling with who youโ€™ve been or blooming into who youโ€™re becomingโ€”

    Thereโ€™s room for you here.
Not just a seat. A place.

Because Gals That Brunch isnโ€™t about checking a box.
Itโ€™s about creating spaces where women are seen, celebrated, and set free to be their whole selves.

And girlโ€ฆ we saved you a seat. ๐Ÿ’—

  • Hey galโ€”can we have a lilโ€™ heart-to-heart? ๐Ÿ’–
We know life happens. Schedules change. Plans shift. Emergencies pop up.
And we hold space for all of it. We truly do. But alsoโ€ฆ

We canโ€™t operate like everyone is the exception, ya know? ๐Ÿ˜…
So hereโ€™s your soft and sparkly RSVP reminderโ€”equal parts gentle accountability and full-body hug.

As much as we love a good dramatic entrance (fashionably late and fabulous, of course),
thereโ€™s something important we need you to know:
If you wake up on a Saturday or Sunday and those sign-up jitters hitโ€ฆ
If you're tired from the night before or feeling like your presence might not make a differenceโ€ฆ

Pause. Take a breath. And hear this, loud and clear:
    You. showing. up. matters.

When you donโ€™t come, we all miss out on your magic.
This isnโ€™t just about a name on a list or a seat at a tableโ€”
This community? Itโ€™s built on the real-deal hearts of women like you.
Your laugh. Your presence. Your awkward parking story or mimosa mishapโ€”
Itโ€™s all part of the joy. And itโ€™s never the same without you.

Letโ€™s also talk about the why behind RSVPs and those little fees we attach to events:
We donโ€™t charge to be exclusiveโ€”we charge to be excellent.
That fee goes back into creating something beautiful:
๐Ÿ’ธ Signs, name tags, welcome cards, venue deposits, supplies, surprises, and alllll the little details that make this thing feel intentional and full of love.

So when someone ghosts or bails last minute?
    Itโ€™s not just a missed chair. Itโ€™s a missed opportunityโ€”
for another gal on the waitlist to be seen, known, included, and celebrated.
Itโ€™s also a resource we no longer get to steward well. And girl, we want to steward this well.
Weโ€™ve bargained, emailed, prayed, and probably even begged for those reservations ๐Ÿ˜‚โ€”
so when we say it matters, we mean it from the top of our coffee mugs to the tips of our croissant crumbs.

More than anything thoughโ€ฆ this policy isnโ€™t about rules.
Itโ€™s about love. Itโ€™s about honor. Itโ€™s about respecting the sacred space weโ€™re building hereโ€”together.
Itโ€™s how we care for one another.
Itโ€™s how we show up for each other.
And itโ€™s how we build a culture where no one gets left out, overlooked, or forgotten.

So if something does come up (and we know it might), just let us know.
No guilt. No shame. Just communication and care.
Weโ€™ll always hold space for your humanity hereโ€”but we also believe in showing up for one another with honesty, grace, and kindness.

    This isnโ€™t a party. Itโ€™s a movement.
This isnโ€™t about perfection. Itโ€™s about presence.
This isnโ€™t just a seat at the table. Itโ€™s a chance to help set it.

And you, dear gal, are such an important part of it all.

We love you. Weโ€™re cheering for you.
And we canโ€™t wait to see you at brunch. ๐Ÿ’•

โ€” Your GTB San Diego Team

  • Gals That Brunch is more than bubbly bevs and photo-worthy momentsโ€”itโ€™s a quiet revolution.
A movement born from a deep ache weโ€™ve all felt: the ache of loneliness, disconnection, and the question, โ€œWhere do I belong?โ€

Yes, we brunch. Yes, we celebrate. Yes, weโ€™re here for the charcuterie boards and cinnamon roll pancakes.
But at our core, weโ€™re here for something far more meaningful.

We gather to break chains, not just breadโ€”chains of isolation, shame, comparison, and the myth that we have to do life alone.

    Our ethos is grounded in:
๐ŸŒฟ Honor โ€“ We see people as sacred and treat them accordingly.
๐ŸŒฟ Wholeness โ€“ We show up fully, mess and all.
๐ŸŒฟ Freedom โ€“ We reject shame and pressure, and make room for real, messy, beautiful humanity.
๐ŸŒฟ Diversity โ€“ We believe the table gets more beautiful with every story added to it.
๐ŸŒฟ Intimacy โ€“ We crave more than small talkโ€”we build connection that nourishes the soul.

Close your eyes and imagine a flourishing San Diego.
Local businesses thriving. Women walking in freedom. Real-life friendships replacing digital facades.
A city impactedโ€”not by influencers or trendsโ€”but by women who chose to show up with radical kindness, contagious joy, and a heart to love people well.

This is who we are. This is what weโ€™re building.

Weโ€™re not just inviting you to sit with us.
Weโ€™re inviting you to be part of a ripple effectโ€”one that reaches beyond the brunch table and into homes, cities, and generations.

Youโ€™re not just a guest here.
    Youโ€™re a co-builder of something sacred.

So if youโ€™ve been craving real, life-giving community and a space where you donโ€™t have to shrink, hustle, or perform...
    This is your invitation.

    Come as you are.
    Stay for the soul revival.
And know thisโ€”your seat at the table has always been waiting.

  • From our hearts to yours

We believe in long tables. The kind where you pull up a chair, even if itโ€™s your first time.
Where someone looks up, sees you, and says โ€œHey, we saved you a seat.โ€
    Thatโ€™s what weโ€™re building here.

    Because hereโ€™s the thing:
The strongest communitiesโ€”the ones that hold up under pressure, the ones that lastโ€”are the ones where everyone belongs. Not because we all look or think or believe the sameโ€ฆ but because we show up with kindness, with courage, and with open hands.

At Gals That Brunch, we welcome women of all ages, stories, backgrounds, and beliefs.
We are made better, braver, and more beautiful because of our diversity.
We donโ€™t just tolerate differences. We celebrate them.

Weโ€™re a community made up of women from every walk of life.
    Different cultures. Different belief systems.
Different ways of voting, thinking, loving, worshiping, and living.
And we love that about us.

Because real connection isnโ€™t built on perfect agreementโ€”itโ€™s built on respect, curiosity, and the courage to keep showing up for each other.

While we donโ€™t shy away from the hard stuff, we want you to know:
We are a bi-partisan, people-first, radically welcoming space.
That means we care more about how we treat each other...
We lead with empathy. We listen without shame. We stay soft even when the world wants us to get hard.

We know that some might call that naรฏve. Or privileged. Or โ€œplaying it safe.โ€
    But we call it brave.
Because in a world thatโ€™s constantly trying to tear people apartโ€”
weโ€™re committed to weaving people together.

We are a community built on:

๐Ÿ’– Radical kindness โ€” the kind that shows up with snacks, saves a seat, and speaks with softness even when itโ€™s hard

๐ŸŒˆ Unshakeable inclusivity โ€” every body, every background, every belief system has a place here

๐Ÿซถ Shared responsibility โ€” this isnโ€™t a business, itโ€™s a sisterhood. That means we all carry the culture, we all clean up the table, we all make the magic

๐Ÿšซ Zero tolerance for hate โ€” or anything that diminishes someoneโ€™s worth, dignity, or humanity

We will always protect the sacredness of this space.
We will always choose kindness over coolness.
We will always lean into grace, even when itโ€™s messy. Especially then.

So if youโ€™re wondering if youโ€™ll fit in hereโ€”yes.
If youโ€™re wondering if we meant you when we said โ€œevery womanโ€โ€”yes.
If youโ€™ve ever longed for a place to laugh, cry, be silly, be real, or just beโ€”yes.

This is not just a seat at the table.
Itโ€™s an invitation to help set it.

    Weโ€™re so glad youโ€™re here.
    You belong. ๐Ÿ’›

  • While weโ€™re out here sipping lattes and forming life-giving friendships, weโ€™re also holding something sacred.
    This isnโ€™t just brunch. Itโ€™s a movement. Itโ€™s a culture. Itโ€™s a privilege.

If you're repping GTB (online or IRL), know that you're an extension of this beautiful community.

Youโ€™re part of something biggerโ€”and we take that seriously.

Over the last almost 10 years, weโ€™ve built something that doesnโ€™t happen by accident.

Itโ€™s been cultivated with intentionality, tenderness, and fierce love.

And every gal who walks through the door becomes part of holding that sacred space.

Whether itโ€™s your first time or your 200th, you are a culture carrier.

Weโ€™ve spent a decade building a community marked by:

    โœจ Extreme generosity
    โœจ Radical love
    โœจ Honor in action
    โœจ Over-the-top inclusivity
โœจ And a whole lotta hope-filled, joy-soaked energy

So hereโ€™s what that means in real-life termsโ€”how we live it out together, every single time:

๐ŸŒท We honor every space weโ€™re invited into.
These restaurants, patios, and venues donโ€™t owe us anything.
We show up with gratitude, gentleness, and grace.
And yesโ€”we always leave it better than we found it.
That means cleaning up after ourselves, being courteous to staff, and never forgetting that our presence should feel like a gift.

We understand that we are often a large group and that hosting us requires extra patience, coordination, and flexibility. So we lead with kindness, and we overcommunicate joy and gratitude. Thatโ€™s the GTB way.

    ๐Ÿšซ GTB is a drug-free, drama-free, diva-free space.
We know this might go without sayingโ€”but around here, we like to say the good things out loud.

Gals That Brunch is about creating a soft landing place. A space where women can show up fully, breathe a little easier, and feel safeโ€”body, mind, and spirit.

To help protect that for everyone, we ask that our events remain drug-free. Not out of judgment or shameโ€”but out of care.

We never know what someone else is carrying, navigating, or healing from. And part of being in community is honoring that.

So we come with open hearts, clear minds, and a shared desire to be presentโ€”to ourselves, and to one another.

    This isnโ€™t a party scene. Itโ€™s a soul scene.
A space for slow mornings, deep laughs, meaningful connection, and maybe a little magic. โœจ

    ๐Ÿ’– Kindness is non-negotiable.
Yes, that includes how you speak to fellow attendees and how you treat restaurant staff and venue partners.
Even if someoneโ€™s having an off day. Even if your order is wrong. Even if it would be easier to respond sharply.

We are not here to match energyโ€”we are here to shift culture. We lead with grace. We offer patience. We stand in the gap.

We donโ€™t have to know someoneโ€™s story to treat them with honor.

๐Ÿชฉ You represent GTB everywhere you go.
Whether youโ€™re showing up at a gathering or posting online, you carry the name, the brand, and the energy.

Itโ€™s a privilege to be part of this communityโ€”and it should never be abused. We are ambassadors of radical love and intentional community. We speak life, joy, and hopeโ€”because the world needs more of it.

    ๐Ÿซถ Everyone shares the responsibility.
    This isnโ€™t a business. Itโ€™s a love-fueled movement.
Itโ€™s powered by volunteers, heart, and community.

That means we ALL pitch in:

    • You welcome someone new.

    • You help clean up.

    • You model warmth and inclusion.

    • You hold the standardโ€”no matter your title or how many events youโ€™ve attended.

We believe in leaving places more beautiful than we found themโ€”people included.

    ๐ŸŒˆ Inclusivity is our heartbeat.
We are a community of many shapes, sizes, stories, and seasons.
We welcome all women to the tableโ€”and we scoot over, pull up chairs, and make room for every voice.

You donโ€™t have to be anything other than yourself to belong here.

Everyone is part of the welcome committeeโ€”even if itโ€™s your first time.

๐Ÿ’ซ We donโ€™t just set the vibeโ€”we steward it.
We tend to the atmosphere. We honor each other.
We treat people how we hope to be treatedโ€”even when itโ€™s hard. Especially then.

We bring beauty with us. We shift the energy in a room. We leave spaces softer, sweeter, and more full of life.

We hold the culture like something preciousโ€”because it is.

We are not perfectโ€”but we are intentional.
This community is rare, and itโ€™s real, and itโ€™s a reflection of all the hearts that show up and pour in.

This is not just a seat at the table.
Itโ€™s an invitation to help set it.
And weโ€™re so honored youโ€™re here.

  • (aka: How generosity makes this whole thing go round)

Hereโ€™s something most people donโ€™t realize: every single Gals That Brunch event costs real money to run. Even the โ€œfreeโ€ ones. That dreamy zero-dollar coffee hang? Weโ€™re still covering things like web hosting, credit card fees, RSVP software, design tools, group texts, flyers, event graphics, and backend support. Every week, it costs a few hundred dollars just to keep this platform alive and wellโ€”and we gladly do it. But we want you to know the reality:

This is not a business. Itโ€™s a movement.
Itโ€™s a volunteer-run, community-fueled, hope-driven mission to make sure no woman does life alone. From the founder to your cityโ€™s chapter leader to the gal texting you the event reminderโ€”every single one of us is unpaid and showing up purely out of love.

So if youโ€™ve ever thought, โ€œWow, this feels like a full-time job,โ€ youโ€™d be absolutely right. It does. Only weโ€™re doing it for free, late at night, between work shifts, with a cup of cold coffee nearby and Google Docs open. And weโ€™d do it again in a heartbeat. Because this matters. Women finding each other matters. But the real magic is this: weโ€™re just a bunch of women who believe that isolation is not an optionโ€”and weโ€™re committed to figuring it out as we go.

๐ŸŽŸ What Are the Ticket Types I See on Events?

When you RSVP for a GTB event, youโ€™ll typically see three options:

    • RSVP + Cover Admin & Processing Fees
This covers the true, behind-the-scenes cost of running that event. These arenโ€™t random numbersโ€”we base them on real, recurring expenses like web software, tools, supplies, signage, and credit card fees. It helps us keep showing up week after week.

    • RSVP + Pay It Forward
Youโ€™re attending the event and covering the cost for another gal to join. Maybe someone youโ€™ll meet that day. Maybe someone you never will. But your generosity is the reason she gets to walk through the door. ๐Ÿ’ซ

    • RSVP + Iโ€™ll Be the Official Vibes Bringer
This is our friendly, feel-good way of saying this is a sponsored spotโ€”offered at no cost to you because someone else paid it forward. These are always available when we can offer them, no explanation needed. Weโ€™re trusting you to take the spot when you need it.

We usually open up the same number of Pay-It-Forward spots as Sponsored spots per event (sometimes more, depending on donations and event type). If a sponsored spot is available, it will always be listedโ€”because we believe community should never be inaccessible.

    ๐Ÿ’Œ Can I Take a Sponsored Spot?

    Yes. One thousand times yes.

If you're in a tough season financially, navigating a transition, or simply trying to make things stretchโ€”please take the spot. Thatโ€™s exactly why itโ€™s there. No explanation required. No application. No shame. Just a seat waiting for you at the table.

We will never ask you to justify it. We will never question your decision. We operate on a foundation of trustโ€”and we want you to feel that trust down to your bones.

But hereโ€™s where we also want to speak with honesty and integrity:
Sponsored spots are designed to meet real needs. They exist because someone else made a conscious decision to pay it forward. So while you never owe us a reason, we simply ask that you use these spots when you need them. With care. With thoughtfulness. With the same heart that built this community in the first place.

Because this community was never meant to be exclusiveโ€”it was built to be accessible. Always. That is the heartbeat of GTB. And itโ€™s a trust we hold sacred.

If and when your season shifts, and you're able to give backโ€”whether itโ€™s $5 toward someoneโ€™s coffee, a future RSVP, or sponsoring a full experienceโ€”we welcome it with open arms. Thatโ€™s how we keep this whole thing going: women lifting one another up, again and again.

We know San Diego is expensive. Life gets real. And we never want cost to be the reason someone doesnโ€™t find her people. Not here. Not ever.

๐Ÿงพ But Waitโ€ฆ If Youโ€™re All Volunteers, Why Do Events Cost Anything?

We love this questionโ€”because it gives us a chance to be fully transparent and lead with both grace and clarity.

Yes, we are 100% volunteer-led. No one on our team is paid (not the founder, not the designers, not the chapter leaders). But that doesnโ€™t mean our events are free to run.

Weโ€™ve grown to a size where maintaining this community takes more than good vibes and glitter graphics. There are real, recurring expenses that come with keeping Gals That Brunch alive and accessible each weekโ€”including:

    • Website hosting + domain fees

    • Credit card + processing fees

    • RSVP platforms + event software

    • Canva Pro + design tools

    • Communication tools + automations

    • Social scheduling + email platforms

    • Flyers, graphics, signage, and marketing

    • Onboarding Support

    • And honestly? Hours and hours of unpaid, behind-the-scenes work

๐Ÿ’ For our curated events (like winery takeovers, boat days, workshops, or special holiday brunches)...

100% of your ticket goes directly into producing the event. This includes venue reservations, vendors, supplies, rentals, staffing fees, insurance, and all the logistics that make magic feel effortless. In most cases, weโ€™re not even covering backend or admin costsโ€”because weโ€™re actively working to keep things as affordable and inclusive as possible.

    But hereโ€™s the hard truth:
Sometimes we still operate at a loss.

If we pre-pay for a minimum headcount and fewer gals show upโ€”or if we buy supplies that donโ€™t get usedโ€”we eat that cost. And stillโ€ฆ we show up. We donโ€™t cancel. We donโ€™t pull back. We keep saying yes to the vision because we believe in it that much.

๐Ÿ’ก So why do "free" events still have RSVP fees?

Even for the zero-dollar hangs (like coffee shop pop-ins, WFH coworking mornings, or book club nights), there are invisible costsโ€”processing fees, digital infrastructure, scheduling tools, and yes, time. Lots and lots of time.

When you see an RSVP option labeled "Cover Admin & Processing Fees," youโ€™re simply helping us break even on the tools that make GTB possible. That $4โ€“$7 might not look like much, but it adds upโ€”and itโ€™s what keeps this whole ecosystem alive.

This isnโ€™t profit. Itโ€™s not income.
    Itโ€™s purpose.
    Itโ€™s people.
Itโ€™s women saying yes to building something that lasts.

So next time you grab a spot at brunch or attend a community hang, know this: your RSVP is more than a ticket. Itโ€™s a tiny, beautiful act of participation in something way bigger than a mimosa and a cute photo. You're helping us make sure thereโ€™s always room for someone else at the table.

And we think thatโ€™s pretty incredible.

๐Ÿ’ซ I Want to Help. How Can I Sponsor, Give, or Partner?

You're our kind of human. Here's how to turn that heart into action.

This community runs on the generosity of women (and businesses) just like youโ€”those who believe that meaningful connection should never be out of reach. Below are a few simple ways you can get involved, deepen your impact, and help keep the mission alive in San Diego and beyond.

    ๐Ÿ’– 1. Make a Direct Donation

Want to support the overall mission? Start here.

Head to the โ€œSupport the Visionโ€ section on this page (right above this section) and make a one-time or monthly contribution of any amount.

โœ… You can note what you'd like it to go toward (e.g. operations, supplies, scholarships)
โœ… Or leave it open for us to apply where itโ€™s most needed
โœ… 100% of it goes back into running and sustaining GTB

Need a donation record for tax or business purposes? Email hello@galsthatbrunch.com and weโ€™ll make sure youโ€™re fully taken care of.

๐ŸŽŸ 2. Sponsor a Gal or an Event

Want to help someone else say โ€œyesโ€ to showing up? This oneโ€™s for you.

    • Look for โ€œSponsor a Spotโ€ or โ€œPay It Forwardโ€ buttons on any event page

    • Choose how many spots youโ€™d like to coverโ€”1, 2, 5, or more

    • Your gift becomes an invitation for another woman to find her people

    • If you want to sponsor an entire event, or cover a curated experience, email us at hello@galsthatbrunch.com and weโ€™ll coordinate it directly

This is one of the most impactful ways to give. You never know whoโ€™s waiting for a moment like this to walk through the door.

๐Ÿ“ฃ 3. Partner with Us Through Sponsorship or Advertising

Want to align your brand with women who show up? Letโ€™s talk.

With 10โ€“14 events per month in San Diego and 175+ active chapters worldwide, we offer meaningful, high-visibility ways to connect with our global audience while supporting our work.

Weโ€™re currently welcoming aligned businesses and mission-driven brands to join us through:

    • ๐Ÿ“ฉ The Gals That Brunch eMag โ€“ our monthly digital publication with seasonal updates, local recaps, and community-driven content

    • ๐ŸŒ Sponsored blog features on galsthatbrunch.com

    • ๐Ÿฝ Curated event sponsorships โ€“ such as winery brunches, themed dinners, and retreats

    • ๐Ÿ“ City-based business spotlights in the chapters youโ€™re already part of

๐Ÿ‘‰ To inquire about purchasing monthly or quarterly ad space in the GTB eMag, partnering on an event, or featuring your brand in our community, email us at hello@galsthatbrunch.com.

Weโ€™ve created these options to be values-aligned, community-safe, and joyfully integrated. No spam. No data selling. Just thoughtful connection.

    ๐Ÿ” What Makes GTB Different?

    We take trust seriously.

All advertising, sponsorship, and partnerships are hand-reviewed by our team to ensure integrity, mission alignment, and safety for our members. We never share or sell member data, and every piece of content or collaboration is opt-in and thoughtfully curated.

Weโ€™ve spent a decade building a reputation rooted in hospitality, sisterhood, and intentionalityโ€”and we only partner with brands and individuals who honor that same ethos.

โœจ Final Step: Letโ€™s Build Something Beautiful

If youโ€™re ready to give, support, or partner with usโ€”email hello@galsthatbrunch.com and weโ€™ll walk you through whatโ€™s possible.

This movement only works because of women like you. So whether you're donating $5, sponsoring a dinner, or joining our newsletter as an aligned business partnerโ€”thank you.

Youโ€™re part of what makes this thing real, sustainable, and sacred.

Letโ€™s build the next season together.

๐Ÿฅ‚ In Closing (aka The Heart Behind It All)

When you show up to a Gals That Brunch event, youโ€™re not just attending brunch.
Youโ€™re saying yes to being part of something bigger.

Youโ€™re joining a sisterhood that runs on compassion, trust, and a shared belief that no woman should do life alone.

Every hug, every new friend, every sponsored RSVPโ€”itโ€™s all a brick in the foundation of a future weโ€™re building together.

So whether youโ€™re giving or receiving today, weโ€™re just so glad youโ€™re here.
    We mean that. Truly.

And the next time you see a chapter leader, co-host, or volunteer, give her the biggest hug and say thank you. Sheโ€™s showing up unpaid, behind the scenes, and heart-wide-open.

Letโ€™s keep building this togetherโ€”with sparkle, transparency, and that signature GTB love. ๐Ÿ’–
