Back from Italia and already plotting our next escape to southern Italy—Tiff’s home turf in Calabria. Think tiny hilltop villages, sea-salt sunsets, long-table dinners, and locals-only magic (aka the non-touristy Italy). Retreat #4 is intimate on purpose, very limited spots, alumni already eyeing their seats, and first dibs goes to the waitlist. If you’re craving slow mornings, handmade pasta, and friendships that linger longer than the limoncello… this is your sign. We just wrapped our very first round of Gals That Grow and trulyyy… we loved it so much. 🥹💛
There was something really special about gathering with women who are all in a season of wanting to grow, heal, reflect, and become more intentional, together. It felt grounding, honest, encouraging, and like the kind of space we definitely want more of.
So yes babe, Gals That Grow will be back this summer for our next personal development book club series. 📚✨
Book, format, and meeting times are still TBD because we want to hear from you first and build this next round in a way that feels the most supportive, doable, and life-giving.
Think:
✨ meaningful conversation
✨ gentle accountability
✨ a cozy space to grow with other women
✨ and the kind of structure that helps you actually finish the book you swore you were going to read
We’ll be sending out a little survey soon to help shape the next round, so stay tuned. And if the first series taught us anything, it’s that growing alongside other women just hits different.
More details coming soon, but for now… consider this your little placeholder that something sweet is coming this summer. 💛

📚 August Read: Circe by Madeline Miller
GALS THAT READ: SOUTH COUNTY BOOK CLUB 🏺📖✨
Grab your golden goblet, channel your inner goddess, and prepare to disappear into a world of magic, mythology, power, and women who are deeply done being underestimated.
This month, South County Book Club is diving into Circe by Madeline Miller, a beautiful reimagining of one of Greek mythology’s most fascinating women.
This one is giving ancient gods behaving badly, complicated family dynamics, exile, transformation, feminine power, a little witchcraft, and one woman slowly realizing that perhaps being feared is not the same thing as being powerless.
Come ready to talk about the moments that made you gasp, rage, underline an entire paragraph, question every god on Mount Olympus, or wonder whether you, too, should move to a private island and become an enchantress.
WE’RE GETTING CRAFTYYYY 🎨✨
Em will also be leading a special bookish craft during our August gathering!
She’ll have enough supplies prepared for everyone who RSVPs, and there is a suggested donation of $7 per person to help cover the cost of the craft materials. You’ll be able to Venmo Emily through the book club.
As always, we want to make sure our meetups remain as accessible as possible. If contributing toward the craft isn’t doable for you right now, there is absolutely no worry or explanation needed. We are more than happy to make sure you’re covered and still able to participate with everyone. 💛
Your presence matters far more to us than your ability to contribute. The suggested donation simply helps us continue creating these cute, cozy, and creative experiences for the group whenever possible.
A LITTLE SEPTEMBER SNEAK PEEK 📚
Our September bring-a-book theme will be historical fiction, so start looking through your shelves for a favorite historical fiction read you’d love to bring, share, recommend, or pass along to another gal.
As always, finishing the monthly book is never required to attend.
Come if you devoured every page.
Come if you listened on audiobook.
Come if you made it halfway and already have thoughts.
Come if the book is still sitting beautifully untouched on your nightstand.
Come simply because you’re craving a cozy evening of creativity, conversation, and community with the gals.
Bring your thoughts, your hot takes, and your willingness to make something cute with us. We cannot wait for a magical little evening of books, crafts, mythology, and South County girlhood. 🏺💕📚
