Sunday afternoons in San Diego are great for relaxing at the beach or catching up with friends over French toast and mimosas, but not on this particular Sunday. Over a dozen female entrepreneurs, from stylists, to florists, to chefs, flocked to the seaside neighborhood of Bird Rock to put on one of the most beautiful, colorful and creative events that I’ve seen in a while.

Dish Restaurant Review - Virginia Beach, VA

When Dish Restaurant opened in 2014, it brought a new flavor from a different region to Virginia Beach. Owner Carina Boqvist Bergdoll wanted to serve up her Swedish roots with a taste of Scandinavia in every dish. Gals That Brunch-Virginia Beach visited Dish for the unique menu, but stayed for the numerous mimosa options and left with a full belly and a smile on our faces.

Poco is a hot spot for brunch in Manhattan. To get a reservation there, you have to make it at least a month in advance OR be lucky enough that someone cancels when you’re browsing OpenTable. Gals That Brunch NYC was so excited to have the opportunity to brunch there as a group.
